An IPhone Photo Vacation
This month, my mom and I took the kids to Lakeway Resort in Austin. It was a quick trip while the hubs was out of town teaching. We kept things really simple and I tried very hard to let go of our usual "schedule."
Our mission: wear those kiddos out.
In the process of packing, I had to make a tough decision. Do I or do I not take my big girl camera? In the end, I decided to leave it at home. I didn't want to lug it around everywhere and I didn't want to be focused on trying to get "the shot" every moment. I wanted to be present, so I simply relied on my trusty phone camera. But, I did cheat a little and edited these on my computer in Lightroom.
It was a whirlwind trip, and there were a lot of moments I opted not to take a picture. But I am glad that I have these to look back on and know that we survived!!
